We have all had one, two or probably more dates at some point in our lives. Some were good, others were funny, the rest were probably bad but there should be the one date that was good. The date that led into relationship, from there to marriage. So let’s get back to dating! Why do we or should we date?
Dating is the first stage whereby two people meet socially, possibly as friends or with the aim of each assessing the other’s suitability as a prospective partner in a more committed and intimate relationship or marriage. This stage is not supposed to take long. Mostly recommended, there should not be emotional attachment or sex.
When on a date, you should be careful of the price you are giving about yourself. There should be a limit of openness, just incase that person is not for you, that is a lot of information about yourself that person is taking with him or her. Keep yourself guarded not to be hurt when you don’t get pass the dating stage. That does not mean you should be secretive. Withdrawing good information about yourself may not do you good either because you may make it hard for the person to get to know you better. Try to find a middle ground.
Dating should be fun, it’s a way of trying out new things.
